Teresa D. Ryback
Teresa Ryback is the founder and principal designer of tdSwansburg design studio. Her commitment to subtle simplicity and quality design continues to capture the attention of clients both locally and abroad. She has distinguished her firm in the design discipline, earning multiple awards for design excellence.
Having earned her Associate Degree in Arts and Science, Teresa went on to study interior design at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and Rhodec International. Her passion and dedication for design and architecture—with an artist’s eye—allows her to visualize a space in terms of composition, light, colour and texture.
Teresa’s work has been published in Dream House Magazine, Island Home & Style and she was selected as a feature designer in Spectacular Homes of Western Canada: An Exclusive Showcase of Western Canada’s Finest Designers (hardcover).

Ashley Robinson
Ashley completed her formal education at Pacific Design Academy and Camosun College in Victoria, BC. She began her design career as a kitchen and bath designer for a high-end custom millwork company specializing in residential millwork design. Ashley’s inspiration stems from her admiration of classic architecture and design combined with modern concepts. Drawing from her millwork experience, Ashley focuses on the importance of the client’s vision while maintaining functionality in every space. She works with both residential and commercial clients.

Jo-Ann Burley
Jo-Ann Burley is a veteran in the field of Interior Design. With a background in the furniture industry, a strong sense of colour theory and a major in textile design from the NB School of Applied Arts, she specializes in luxury residential and multi-residential projects. She continues to have a strong interest in using unique textiles in her work and creates stunning custom bedding, upholstery and drapery treatments.
Her project list includes the Home Town Heroes Lottery Homes, multi-residential showhomes and residential renovation and new construction projects. Jo-Ann enjoys working with clients early in the design process and several clients have utilized her expertise in multiple residences.
Jo-Ann is currently designing a private residence in Belize.
